We doodled a Christmas card.
My cousin Sarah is an interior designer. Her slick pad is currently being featured in a design magazine relating to her industry. My children's book managed to make it into one of the shots!
I don't know why, there's just something about it. I feel like I could use this for a future idea...
In 2009 I figured out the word 'Helvetica' has quite a relevant anagram. Like many ideas, I fiddled around with it for a bit but lost interest. Personally I don't use the typeface ever, I find it awkward and difficult to typeset. I'd rather not get into a epic design argument about it, this poster was just for fun.
I wanted to see what my scanner could do... and its given me a great idea for a poster I've been storing for a while.
'Some say the situation is unbearable'. This little doodle was a long awaited request.
Logo sketches for an online company called Gardenville. They are essentially, youtube meets gardening meets cool. Some of the initial aims were to come up with something (*duh) original. Personally I wanted to avoid any depiction of leaves or tendrils at all costs and make the logo gender neutral, as the market audiences is for both men and women roughly 25-40. The was surprisingly the first and last sketch where I was pretty happy with an initial concept.
